When people think of stains that are hard to get rid of, they don’t typically think of mud. After all, mud is just wet dirt, right? After it dries out, it just takes off and that’s the end of it, right? In most cases and for most surfaces, yes. But when you’re talking about siding materials like stucco, mud can be a huge pain in the neck.
We have seen it quite a bit actually. Our customers call us because they couldn’t get mud stains off their siding themselves. What makes mud so problematic for materials like stucco is that stucco is very textured. It’s hard to get into all the tiny valleys of stucco surfaces and clean mud out.
Another problem is that most people don’t realize that if mud is left to dry and set on most surfaces, it will leave a stain that is very hard to get rid of. And again, this is especially true of stucco and other types of siding.
